2009 Annual Meeting
Set For New Orleans!

Please note:  Tuesday Feb. 24 is the final day of Mardi Gras.  The city of New Orleans is expected to be quite busy with celebrations throughout the day and into evening.  As a result, it is strongly suggested that attendees travel on either Monday Feb. 23 or Weds. Feb. 25 to avoid difficulties traveling into the downtown area and accessing the hotel on Tuesday.

The first official delegate function is the EXPO Opening, which is scheduled to take place Thursday, Feb. 26 at 4 p.m.

Please consult with your chapter, council and club leadership to determine your best travel options.

Air Travel and Hotel Reservations:

Attendees are encouraged to begin making travel plans now in order to secure the best airfare.  Travel arrangements are by individual choice.  The Hilton New Orleans Riverside is now taking room reservations by phone  and is finalizing its system for electronic reservations. Information on electronic access will be posted here as soon as it becomes available.

Dates of Event:  Feb. 26-28, 2009.  Those are the conference dates. You will want to specify your actual arrival/departure   
dates.

Conference Registration:

Delegate-only registration for the 2009 Annual Meeting is scheduled to run from Dec. 5-19.   General registration will follow, from Dec. 29 to Jan. 12.  Information on accessing the registraion site will be provided in the days prior to the Dec. 5 opening.  Again, attendees are advised to make air and hotel reservations as soon as possible, and then register for the Annual Meeting later.
