Bon Appetite!

It has often been said that "it is hard to find a bad place to eat in New Orleans," and as a local, I am here to attest to that fact. As most of you are aware, New Orleans does not fall short of great places to eat. There are hundreds of restaurants, some famous, some not, that would accommodate an evening dinner for two or more and also a group such as a chapter dinner. With the Annual Meeting being held in the heart of the French Quarter of New Orleans, we thought it would be helpful to provide a list of restaurants within the area that are within walking distance or a short ride.
Attached you will find a document we put together of just a few of the restaurants located near the hotel and in the French Quarter along with the websites and contact information. All of these are in walking distance (1 to 9 blocks) from the Hilton Hotel and very easy to get to. I highlighted the restaurants that I know can accommodate larger groups and that would work well for chapter dinners. All of the restaurants on the list are excellent places to eat while you are in town. Some had websites that you could explore and they are noted also. My thanks to Lillie Sherburne and Gaynell Marchand who did most of the work in getting this list together. Great job ladies!
Local Dining Suggestions
The local newspaper just put out the "Fall Restaurant Guide" with many of the best restaurants in town. I have provided the site for the restaurants of the French Quarter here if you would like to read more about the restaurants on our list and a few more.
